Welcome to Living on the Lens. We've entered the digital photography age and now have the opportunity to literally take thousands of pictures effortlessly. Yet, digital photography is by no means any cheaper in the long run. There are many more things to spend your money on including anything from point and shoot cameras to DSLR cameras ranging from $50 up to thousands of dollars. Then there are lenses, lighting, a computer and accessories including backup drives for storage, and software and more!

On this journey of photograhy I am seeing how much information there is out there in cyberland, yet how difficult it is to find the basics of what you want to learn. What I want to do is to share the information I've learned. I'd like to help you so you won't have to spend more hours than there are in the day in order to find what you are looking for.

For instance, taking photography classes is one way to start to build your skills. Spending as much time as you can in the field taking the pictures and gaining more experience is another. What I'd like to help you to do is to make it easier to get into this digital world is to help you make that journey as well. If I can offer some tips and tricks, helpful websites, and generally anything to make it easier for someone else starting out on this wonderful journey of looking at the world differently, it's here that I will offer information to help you.

The one thing I've learned so far that makes it all worth it is to make sure you have fun and open your eyes to all the beauty that this wonderful world has to offer for you to capture with the lens. Come and join me in making your world a little brighter by living on the lens.
